What do do in the event of a death
In the event of a death occurring at home When a death occurs at home, you need to call in the last doctor who visited the deceased to confirm the death and issue a certificate.
Once you have done this, we can then arrange to remove the deceased to our chapel of rest.
In the event of a death
occurring whilst away from home If a death occurs anywhere in the United Kingdom, simply contact our offices and we can then make all the necessary arrangements for you to have the deceased returned home. Once you have done this, we can then arrange to remove the deceased to our chapel of rest.
Applying to the DSS for assistance towards the payment of a funeral account When booking a funeral, you may be asked if you are going to apply to the DSS for help in paying the funeral account, we can supply you with a application form and give you advice on your application and any related matters.
